A pocket fidget is something you take with you. A desktop fidget can become part of the space you return to. The Jackpot 2.0 Desktop Magnetic Dice Fidget Toy brings that idea to life with a mechanical slot-machine-inspired design and rotating dice whose magnetic feedback can be adjusted.

Whether you enjoy exploring mechanical objects or want an interactive piece for your desk, here is what makes Jackpot 2.0 worth a closer look—and what to check before choosing your set.

A Mechanical Design Built for the Desktop

Jackpot 2.0 builds on the original Jackpot with a design that more closely resembles a traditional mechanical slot machine. According to its product specifications, the design incorporates 164 parts, with an added tags roller that introduces another element to explore.

Its appeal is in the interaction: turning the dice, noticing resistance, and experimenting with the feel of the mechanism. Rather than treating it as just another decorative desk object, think of it as something to pick up and explore during a pause in your day.

Adjust the Magnetic Feedback

The defining feature is the adjustable magnetic setup. Each die can accommodate up to six magnets, and changing the magnet count changes the force feedback during rotation.

• With no magnets: the product description characterizes the dice as spinning smoothly, like a fidget spinner.
• With more magnets: rotational damping increases, producing a more springy, responsive feel.

This gives you different ways to explore the same object. You can try a freer-spinning configuration or experiment with more pronounced resistance. Make any adjustments according to the product’s setup guidance rather than improvising disassembly.

Compatibility with Original Jackpot Dice

Jackpot 2.0 uses the same dice as the original Jackpot. If you already own a Handheld Jackpot, the product description states that you can use its dice with the new Jackpot Base.

That makes the base-only option particularly relevant to existing owners. If you are starting fresh, pay close attention to the included components before adding a version to your cart.

Base Only or Set with Dice: Which Should You Choose?

FZEDC lists two options for this product:

• SS+Base- (No dice included): the base-only option. Choose this if you already have compatible dice and want the desktop base.
• SS+Base Set- (Includes dice): the option that includes dice. This is the more straightforward starting point if you do not already own compatible dice.

The distinction matters: the base-only version does not include dice. Check the selected option and the current product details before checkout so that the configuration matches what you need.

A Desk Piece That Invites Interaction

Beyond individual fidgeting, Jackpot 2.0 offers a playful starting point for shared moments. The product is presented as a desktop dice toy that can also be brought out for casual dice games with friends.

For someone who enjoys mechanical design, its combination of rotating dice, adjustable magnetic feedback, and slot-machine-inspired construction offers several details to explore. For an existing Jackpot owner, compatibility with the original dice adds a practical reason to consider the desktop format.
