Fidget Zen.
Everyday Carry.
FZ stands for Fidget Zen. EDC stands for Everyday Carry. We bring the Chinese spirit of Zen, calm attention and the beauty of simple things, into the small tools you carry every day, and share it with enthusiasts around the world.
Every click, glide and spin is a chance to slow down and come back to the moment. That feeling is what we look for in every piece we bring into the studio.

The thinking
Where Eastern calm meets everyday carry.
Fidget Zen
Zen, or chán, is the Chinese art of calm attention. A good fidget does the same in your hand: one quiet motion that clears the noise and brings you back to now.
Everyday Carry
The small things worth carrying every day. Precisely made, built to be used, and good enough to keep for years.
Our story
Two old friends, one studio.
We met as classmates more than 20 years ago, and in all that time we have never had a single falling-out. Life took us into big companies and separate careers, Wes in marketing and sales, Joe in product and design. We didn't talk often, but each of us always knew who his best friend was.
Then we found ourselves chasing the same idea. It clicked instantly, and in 2024 we started FZEDC Studio in Hong Kong. Joe makes sure every piece is worth carrying; Wes makes sure it reaches the people who will love it. We push each other, cover each other's blind spots, and sweat the details the way craftsmen do.
We all carry our own weight, from work, from life, from family. We hope what we send out gives you a moment of calm, and a reminder that the best is yet to come.
