Low-friction polymer for pads, films and sliding contact surfaces.

用于垫片、薄膜和滑动接触面的低摩擦聚合物。

中文详解整理中,以下为英文原文。

What it is

PTFE is polytetrafluoroethylene, a fluoropolymer known for low friction and chemical resistance. Teflon is a brand covering several fluoropolymers, not a guarantee of a particular product’s source or composition.

How it feels in your EDC

In pads and contact films, PTFE can reduce direct rubbing between parts. Thickness, fit, surface condition and the complete mechanism influence travel and feedback.

Care & aging

Keep contact surfaces clean and replace worn pads according to the product instructions. Match the required thickness and dimensions. Reference: Chemours, Fluoropolymers 101.
