OEM means a manufacturer produces a product that another company designs or brands. Many EDC brands work with specialist machining shops.

OEM is a normal, legitimate model. What matters is design ownership and quality control, not whether the brand owns the machines.

Also known as: Original Equipment Manufacturer, Contract Manufacturing, 代工, 贴牌.
