Tritium illumination氚光管

What it is

Tritium illumination uses small glass vials coated inside with phosphor and filled with tritium gas. Beta radiation from the tritium makes the phosphor glow continuously for years, with no light or power source.

In your EDC

Tritium vials mark watch dials, flashlight switches and keychain beacons so you can find them in the dark. Their glow fades slowly as tritium decays, with a half-life of about 12.3 years.
