A small hardened tip or hammer for breaking a car window in an emergency.

What it is

An emergency hammer, or glass breaker, is a small tool with a hardened steel or tungsten carbide tip that concentrates force to shatter a car's tempered side windows. Many models also include a seatbelt cutter.

In your EDC

Glass breaker tips are common on tactical pens, flashlight bezels and multi-tools. They work on tempered side windows, not on laminated windscreens.
