Sandblasted Finish喷砂

What it is

Sandblasting fires fine, sharp abrasive grit at a metal surface under air pressure. Each impact leaves a microscopic dent, and together they create a uniform matte texture. Bead blasting is a close cousin: it uses round glass beads, which leave a smoother, more satin surface.

How it feels in your EDC

A sandblasted piece feels dry and slightly textured under your fingertips, which many people find grippy. The matte surface scatters light instead of reflecting it, giving a clean, understated, tool-like look. It also tends to hide fingerprints and small marks better than a polished surface.

Care & aging

With daily handling, high-contact edges can slowly burnish to a soft sheen while recessed areas stay matte, creating a natural wear pattern that shows how you carry it. Skin oils may darken the texture slightly; wipe it with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid polishing compounds, which can smooth the texture away for good.
