A code that rates protection against dust and water, such as IPX8.

衡量防尘防水等级的代码，例如 IPX8。

The IP code, defined in IEC 60529, uses two digits: the first rates protection against solids such as dust, the second against water. An X means that part was not tested; IPX8, for example, means protection against continuous immersion under conditions stated by the maker.

Many EDC flashlights are rated IPX7 or IPX8.

IP 代码由 IEC 60529 定义，使用两位数字：第一位表示对灰尘等固体的防护，第二位表示对水的防护。X 表示该项未测试；例如 IPX8 表示在品牌说明的条件下可以持续浸水。
