What it is

Cupronickel is a family of copper–nickel alloys. Nickel lightens the copper color. Composition varies by grade. Unlike nickel silver, the name does not specify a copper–nickel–zinc alloy.

How it feels in your EDC

The alloy provides a substantial metal feel in a small machined part. The complete design, dimensions and finish also affect weight, sound and tactile feedback.

Care & aging

Wipe away moisture and handling marks with a soft cloth. Follow the brand’s care instructions for any surface treatment. Reference: Copper Development Association, Copper-Nickel Alloys: Properties, Processing, Applications.
