CPM MagnaCut is a stainless knife steel made by Crucible Industries with powder metallurgy and designed by metallurgist Larrin Thomas. It aims to combine high toughness and edge retention with strong corrosion resistance.

Powder metallurgy turns molten alloy into fine powder and consolidates it, giving a fine, even structure in the finished steel.

CPM MagnaCut 是 Crucible Industries 用粉末冶金工艺制造的不锈钢刀钢，由冶金学家 Larrin Thomas 设计。它的目标是把高韧性和保刃性与出色的耐腐蚀性结合起来。

粉末冶金是把熔融合金制成细粉，再压实成形，使成品钢的组织细小均匀。
